hui-hui is founded in 2002 by Anne Schwätzler, fashiondesigner,
and the sisters Johanna and Katharina Trudzinski , fashiondesigner and
textiledesigner/ artist.

The label is investigating the borderlines between art and fashion,
between the coincidence and the intended.

hui-hui is founded in 2002 by Anne Schwätzler, fashiondesigner,
and the sisters Johanna and Katharina Trudzinski , fashiondesigner and
textiledesigner/ artist.
All started with no commercial ambition, as a project born
out of the love for creation, fashion- and textilewise.
During the years at the different schools, in Belgium and Germany
hui-hui grows with the knowledge and passion of the three designers
from a label which presents one collection a year in the Berlin based
showroom of the select-shop ´Apartmentstore´ , to a biseasonal
collection which is selling in Germany, Japan and the United States
and at times in Belgium and France.
During this process the approach and objective changed towards
the goal of building up a professional business structure.

hui-hui is build up around a collection theme, an atmosphere which
results from the inspiration brought up by all three designers.
Each collection has new approach with a particular emphasis on
textile treatment or a newly discovered technique from old handiwork,
a certain printing method, a and a new aesthetic without loosing the
brand recognition.
It is always an eclectic mix of the imagination of three designers with
a broad view and curiousity on the world.

Is developing for each season two to four exclusive hui-hui prints
plus two different designs for the collection signature scarfs.

The garments of hui-hui are made to last longer than one season, edgy
and independent from trends, but also through the quality of the
materials
and the good workmanship of the manufacturer.
The collection is entirely produced in Europe.
