i want to travel japans isolated snow country.
and then i want to drink hot green tea out of nice ceramic cups and read :
yasunari kawabata’s
“snow country”
“Now that he knew Yoko was in the house, he felt strangely reluctant to call Komako. He was conscious of an emptiness that made him see Komako’s life as beautiful but wasted, even though he himself was the object of her love; and yet the woman’s existence, her straining to live, came touching him like naked skin. He pitied her, and he pitied himself”
last week i went on a wander alone to my new favourite area in london and had a hot matcha in a japanese tea house. in which i played a japanese tombola and won “a little sausage and bean in a hot pan” eraser.
my lucky number was: 26
the staff was singing and applauding with my win – i happily finished my tea.
(bit blushed but happy)
