昨日はアントワープのお店Raでカクテルパーティーがあり顔をだしました。

今回のインスタレーションはSayaka YamamotoさんfromオランダのEindhoven。

日本人ということもあり少しお話しさせていただきました。

RaのオーナーAnnaとデザイナーのSayakaさん。　Annaとは学校で同級生でした。今は自分のお店を持っていて若手デザイナーのサポートもしています。

コンセプトはCollecssion

これはcollectingとobsessionを組み合わせた造語みたいです。

COLECSSION

collecssion is a made-up word. collecssion is about collecting and obsession.

in her exhibition at ra, sayaka will present her three latest, never seen before brooch collections – featuring her interpretations of nature and the world of plant collectors.

though inspired by nature, none of the works contains actual plant parts. each collection offers a different point of view and explores various approaches in form and material.

とにかく若い人たちが発表できる場所があるっていうのはうれしいことですね
